What's even better is that you can enjoy lovely sunny weather and pleasant temperatures here in the winter. And even though this region is a popular travel destination in the winter, you'll find more peace and space in the low season, allowing you to fully relax and discover all the beauty at your own pace!
3. Costa Blanca
We're heading further south in Europe to a very well-known and popular travel destination waiting for you: the Costa Blanca! With well-known places like Alicante, Benidorm, Calpe, and l’Albir, this delightful region is a must for winter visitors. The pleasant climate provides delightful temperatures throughout the winter, allowing you to head to the beach to soak up the sun all year round. In addition to the many famous places on this Costa, you'll also find numerous smaller places that are definitely worth discovering. 4. Mallorca
After crossing from Alicante to the Balearic Islands, we find ourselves on one of the most versatile travel destinations in Europe: Mallorca. On this sunny island, it's pleasant all year round due to the mild climate. Although temperatures can drop significantly in the winter compared to the warm summer days, it's still enjoyable during the day on the island. Additionally, the many hours of sunshine will quickly put a smile on your face during your stay here. Mallorca offers something for everyone, with tranquility seekers enjoying the secluded bays or the vast countryside while lovers of hustle and bustle head to Palma city for a lively atmosphere!
5. Costa del Sol
The name says it all: on this sunny Costa in the south of mainland Spain, you can also enjoy the sun in the winter! For our last favorite destination, you'll have to take a flight. When we cross the Atlantic Ocean towards South America, we reach the sunny island of Bonaire! On this delightful and highly popular travel destination, it's summer all year round. You're guaranteed good weather here, making it ideal for sun enthusiasts who prefer spending every day on the beach. Moreover, we recommend you to explore the colorful island and visit all the beautiful bays, beaches, and picturesque villages!
