Your vacation is not complete without your four-footed friend, of course. To ensure that you can have a carefree vacation with your dog and won't be facing any surprises during your stay, it is useful to be well prepared. Whether you choose a vacation by car in your own country, or you choose to cross the border for a vacation in France, Germany, Austria or Belgium, or whether you opt for a vacation by air, keep in mind that every country has its own rules for dogs on vacation. For example, in some countries, there are rules about leashing your dog and transporting your four-legged friend on a leash, behind a dog guard or in a bench. The rules regarding vaccinations and travel documents for your dog, such as the passport, also differ. Therefore, be well prepared for your trip and, prior to your vacation, check which rules you must take into account during your vacation with your dog!
