Leisure Time, or one of the affiliated partners, is also obligated to maintain a comprehensive night register. The data we collect for this purpose include your (last) name, date of birth, email address, residential address, postal code, country, and mobile phone number.

These details are necessary to establish a valid agreement between you and Leisure Time or one of the affiliated partners. In compliance with legal requirements, we must retain your data related to your reservation for 7 years.

What data is stored in your Leisure Time account?

In your Leisure Time account, the following information is retained: your name, date of birth, place of residence, postal code, email address, and payment details. If you make a reservation through or with Leisure Time, we also store the names and birthdates of your fellow travelers. This data is retained for a minimum of 7 years.

In your account, you can also specify certain interests such as a wish list and language preferences. These interests and settings can be adjusted at any time through your account.

Data about contact with our customer service

If you reach out to our customer service, we may use your phone number and/or email to recognize you, enabling our staff to assist you more effectively with any inquiries. Important information about you may be stored in your account to help us assist you faster and better on subsequent occasions. We retain notes about you as long as you are an active user of our platform.

Telephone conversations with our customer service may be recorded for training and analysis purposes. These recordings are not kept for longer than 1 month.

Data for reviews

To provide other visitors and/or rental owners with a good understanding of accommodations, regions, etc., we ask renters to write a review. This review can cover the accommodation, the surroundings, etc.

If you write a review on the Leisure Time website, you can choose to display your name and/or profile with the review or post the review anonymously.

Data to prevent fraud

To investigate and/or trace unauthorized access and fraud, we use personal data (including IP addresses and search, browse, and reservation behavior). If there has been proven fraud, we retain certain data related to this fraud for a maximum period of 2 years from the moment the fraud is discovered.

Who do we share your data with?

Leisure Time Partners: When you make a reservation for an accommodation through or with Leisure Time, the Leisure Time partner receives your data. Our partners require this information for accurate record-keeping, including towards official entities such as municipalities, tax authorities, and government. Additionally, you need to be reachable in case of emergencies during your stay, which is why we also provide the mobile phone number you have provided.

If there are legal obligations to share data imposed by authorities, Leisure Time only provides the information strictly necessary for these entities.

Where do we store your data?

We store your data within the European Economic Area ("EEA"). However, certain data we collect may be transferred to or stored at a destination outside the EEA, for instance, if one of our external service providers is located there. In such cases, we ensure that this is done in a secure and lawful manner. In these instances, Leisuretime.com will take appropriate measures to ensure that your data is as well protected as possible, such as agreeing with the recipients on standard data protection clauses set by the European Commission.
