This side of the renovated farmhouse, is the oldest part of the estate. Some hunting frescos in the dining/living room prove its origin as an hunting hut although it has been a farmer house and a stable too. The date 1850 is probably when the house was converted from hunting lodge to farmhouse. There are also 2 apartments, one for the caretaker and one, seldom used, for the owners. Very old large working farm "Podere Valle di Sotto". 2 km from the centre of Volterra, 30 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 40 km from the centre of Pisa, in a quiet position on top of a hill, in the countryside.
