Astrid Lindgren's World/Katthult/Bullerby - Vimmerby are only about 90km away. The water is very shallow on most shores and therefore very suitable for children to swim in. For the older ones, there is also a 3 and 5 metre diving platform nearby and, since 2021, a new sunbathing lawn and kiosk, as well as a beach volleyball court with kiosk and sunbathing lawn at the tip of Oknö. As over 50% of the houses on the Oknö peninsula are inhabited all year round, it is possible to arrive at any time in winter. As is usual on Oknö, the house is situated in a pleasant neighbourhood with other wooden houses.
