The Duinlodge for four people is the ideal place for a short stay filled with peace and nature. Everything here is about slowing down, being together and enjoying the simple things in life. Bright, cosy and smartly designed, with everything you need within easy reach. Outside, a charming seating area under the canopy awaits: perfect for a morning coffee in the sun or a relaxed evening with the whole family.

Accommodation: Practical and cosy, ideal for a stay with children

The lodge offers surprisingly comfortable accommodation for four people. In the living area you’ll find a table with two chairs, perfect for having breakfast together, playing games or making plans for the day.

The practical kitchenette is equipped with a hob, fridge, kettle, cold running water and all essential kitchen accessories, making it easy to prepare a cup of coffee or a quick meal. The private toilet is located at the back of the lodge, and electric heating provides extra warmth when needed. Showering? Within a few minutes you can reach the sanitary building, which is free to use.

On one side of the lodge there is a comfortable double bed, while the other side features a bunk bed: ideal for children or friends.

Outside, you can relax on the covered terrace* with garden furniture, a lovely place to sit together and enjoy the green surroundings. The Duinlodge is located on a car-free field, with parking available just a few metres away, ensuring peace and space around your accommodation.

*Shade sail

A shade sail may be installed at the accommodation. These shade sails provide extra shade and comfort on sunny days, but they are made of fabric and are therefore sensitive to strong winds and unsettled weather conditions. To prevent damage or tearing, the shade sails are not installed for the entire season.

There is therefore no fixed date for installing or removing the shade sails. This is determined based on the weather forecast and only takes place when a longer period of stable and good weather is expected. To ensure all accommodations are treated equally, the shade sails are always installed or removed at all accommodations at the same time.

Please note: The shade sails are not waterproof. During prolonged or heavy rainfall, moisture may come through the fabric.

Your loyal four-legged friends are welcome too: the Duinlodge for four people offers space for you and up to two dogs.

Burgh-Haamstede is located on the versatile island of Schouwen-Duiveland and is a great destination for combining nature, relaxation and culture. In the immediate surroundings, expansive dunes, green forests and beautiful nature reserves invite you to enjoy long walks and cycling trips. The wide sandy beach is close by and offers the perfect place to fully unwind.

History and culture lovers will also feel at home here. Discover the impressive Haamstede Castle, admire the iconic Westerlichttoren lighthouse or visit the Plompe Toren with its fascinating story. For an active day out, the Oosterscheldekering and the Neeltje Jans attraction park come highly recommended.
