27 km to the west from Kuhmo, 31 km to the east from Sotkamo, lake Ontojärvi (Heinälahti, Mooseksenmeri) 20 m, length of the lake 25 km, the width of the Heinälahti bay is 170 m, deep beach, sandy bottom, pier, own rowing boat, outboard motor available for rent.

Wooden cottage, built in 1973, renovated and renewed in 2012. There is spreadable sofa in living room, double bed in bedroom (beds can be separated) and spreadable sofa in kitchen. Cabin has also sauna, washroom and glazed terrace. Entrance to the sauna and washroom from glazed terrace.

A hydro massage bath outdoors available all year round for an additional fee, available for the entire period of reservation (more info from the owner).

Einola is a nice and well-equipped cabin at calm location. There are good fishing opportunities on the lake.

Steep slope to shore with steps along the way (not suitable for disable).

Cabin is equipped with air source heat pump, which can also be used as cooling in summer. Fireplace in the living room. Smoker, grill pan and gas burner available.

The price includes two Ikea bags of firewood. Additional wood at a dirt price (to be agreed with the owner).

Fishing: Fishing in lake Ontojärvi is permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod can be used. More information see www.eraluvat.fi In Syväjärvi recreational fishing area, you can try to catch adult rainbow trout, distance is about 16 km. Other possible catches in Syväjärvi are whitefish, perch and grayling (see 5525 Syväjärvi, www.eraluvat.fi).

Hunting: State owned small game hunting areas 5617 Länsi-Kuhmo and 5619 Etelä-Kuhmo easily accessible (see www.eraluvat.fi).
