Cathar Chateau and Cottage

Wonderful and romantic castle near and Mirepoix and Limoux in the Languedoc Roussillon region of France with private pool for uo to 29 persons. This imposing 13 century chateau retains its original spirit of an ancient medieval castle but modernised to create a family home. It has been beautifully decorated by the current artist-owner and her family, creating a grand but comfortable setting for a holiday, family or company event.

The chateau sleeps up to 29 people: 20 people can be accommodated in the main building in ten double/twin bedrooms, and 9 people in four double/twin rooms in an independent cottage on the grounds. It hosts 14 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and several guest toilets, spread over the main accommodation and a gardenhouse. The accommodation offers a lawned garden with trees and a view of the countryside and the mountains.

There are grand reception rooms, including the Knights’ Hall, a large library for dining or events; the billiard room; modern kitchens and bathrooms all surrounded by manicured gardens with a swimming pool.

If you would like this venue as a wedding or event venue it can accomdate 150 people seated and a further 130 people for a function. Please enquire for rates.
