The historic center of Novigrad is largely car-free or only accessible for permit holders. Do you come with the car for a day out or do you stay in the center? Then you park on the large parking lots just outside the old city walls (such as at the harbor or the bus station). From there it is only 5 to 10 minutes walking to the center. Note: these are almost always paid parking spaces via parking meters or apps.
Since January 2023 you pay in whole Croatia, and thus also in Novigrad, just with the Euro (EUR). You need beforehand thus no Kunas more to exchange.
