In the role of Rental Content Manager, our colleague Liselotte occasionally goes out to photograph new homes or regions for Leisure Time. But in addition to her job at Leisure Time, she also works for herself as a photographer: Liselotte Schouten Photography. This includes family photo shoots and weddings. Additionally, Liselotte frequently works on commissioned shoots for businesses. This can involve, for example, a holiday park in Renesse needing atmosphere shots of the park for their website and social media, or a restaurant capturing the latest cocktails for their new menu.
"What I value most in a photo is that it's pure and authentic. For that reason, I'm not a fan of removing unnecessary elements or making things look different or larger than they really are; let it be as it is! And that's what I want to convey to all owners of a vacation home or park. Capture moments as they are because that's how you create a pleasant and genuine feeling for your potential guests. People want to know where they'll be staying, and how wonderful it is that you can show and portray this with the help of photos. I personally stayed in a vacation home in South France last summer, where the entire property was presented as different and larger than it actually was upon arrival. And that made the start of my vacation a little less enjoyable," says Liselotte.
So, Liselotte's tip is to choose a photographer who aligns with your vision, someone you feel comfortable with, and let the park and/or home shine as they truly are! This way, you ensure happier guests who will enjoy their vacation with you!
