Channel configuration

Configuring a channel in Booking Experts is important for the correct flow of the booking and the invoices. Also channel configuration can greatly impact pricing information.

Important setup options in the channel configuration

Type of price list: usually ‘complex’, should match what your internal channel uses

Price factor: 1.0 (there should be no need to add additional prices for Leisure Time)

Type: tour operator

Invoicing of rent and costs: all costs should be invoiced to the guest
Other invoice settings:

Setup like your own administration, there is no need to send channel invoices through email because all invoices are already sent to the guest

Available currencies: EUR
Payment policies

Setup like your own administration. Usually use “default payment policy”.

Contact details: This is for internal use only e.g. your way of contacting us. Please use the following information:

Language: Dutch (although English and German are also possible)

Address
Postal code
City
Country
IBAN
BIC
VAT

Setting up costs

Booking Experts allows for expenses/costs to be configured separately for each channel. This may however trigger price differences between your own site and that of the channel if configured incorrectly.

Please review your costs (Setup/Costs) and make sure that all your mandatory costs are also applied to the channel you are using with leisuretime.com.

The option “applicable to channels” = All means it is automatically applied. Otherwise you may need to modify each cost. Under the heading “Applicability” select the correct channel.

Again, leisuretime.com costs and total prices should match your own site 100%. So each cost that is applied (mandatory) to bookings would also need to be active for the leisuretime.com channel.
