You step out of the car and the first thing you notice is the quiet, broken only by birdsong or the rustle of leaves. The Love Nest sits tucked away, exactly the kind of spot you need when all you want is time alone together. In the evening you sink into your own wood-fired hot tub on the terrace, looking up at a sky full of stars you never see back home.
Surrounded by Drenthe's nature
Nearby lies Nije Hemelriek, a former sand quarry that has turned into a striking little nature spot with clear water and banks made for daydreaming. National Park Drentsche Aa and the Gieten-Borger forestry are just around the corner too, with miles of walking and cycling trails leading straight into the woods. If you prefer a bit more adventure, the rolling Drenthe landscape also offers plenty of mountain biking routes.
A real escape
Spend the day wandering through the forest, then head back to your own place for a glass of wine by the fire or under the stars. No schedule, no phone pulling your attention away, just time for each other. That is what The Love Nest is all about: a place to disappear to, and find each other again.

Huisje zit in een vakantiepark en is rustig en groen gelegen. Het was er brandschoon en gezellig knus. In de ochtend werden we wakker met fluitende vogeltjes. De hottub was makkelijk warm te maken. Het was een heerlijk weekendje in de natuur. Vanuit deze locatie is het ongeveer een kwartier rijden naar het Sprokkelspoor voor als je van wandelen houdt. Zeker een aanrader!

We hebben een perfect verblijf gehad! De accommodatie kwam precies overeen met de beschrijving in de advertentie, dus we voelden ons vanaf de eerste minuut op ons gemak. Bijzonder opmerkelijk is de uitstekende locatie, die een ideaal startpunt was voor alle activiteiten. De communicatie met de host was ook absoluut voorbeeldig: supersnel, vriendelijk en uiterst eenvoudig. Al met al een duidelijke 5-sterrenervaring – we komen graag nog eens terug!

Wat hebben wij ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf hier! Twee nachtjes weg voelde als een mini-vakantie. Alles was perfect geregeld en het tiny house voelde meteen warm en knus aan! Het huisje is brandschoon, je ziet en merkt direct dat er alles goed aandachtig wordt schoongemaakt en onderhouden.
De hottub was onze absolute favoriet. ’s Avonds heerlijk ontspannen met z’n tweeën onder de sterrenhemel, en overdag met die 30 graden was het zó fijn om er even in af te koelen zonder hem aan te zetten. Wat een luxe!
Ook willen we de host bedanken, je was zó behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Alles wat we vroegen kon geregeld worden, niets was te veel. Je doet er echt alles aan om je gasten een onvergetelijke tijd te geven, en dat is helemaal gelukt.
Wij zijn weer helemaal opgeladen!❤️
