A cozy cabin on the shores of the River Matkusjoki, which is part of Lake Sonkajärvi. Pets allowed at extra fee, which is charged per reservation. The spacious yard has space for multiple cars. The riverside sauna is equipped with a wood-burning stove, and from the sauna, it's a short distance to swim on your own beach.

23 km northeast of Iisalmi, River Matkusjoki 35 m, log cabin (2018), living room with TV, heat-storing fireplace, sofa bed that can be extended to a 140x200 cm bed for two. WC with shower. One bed under the stairs. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining area. In the loft, there is one bed and two 80x200 cm mattresses on the floor. The yard's outbuilding has a double bed. The outbuilding includes an electric heater, so it can be used for accommodation in winter as well.

The riverside sauna has a wood-burning stove. Cold tap water is available year-round. There is a water cauldron in the sauna for heating the washing water.

The electric car can be charged for an additional fee from a standard socket.

Spacious grassy yard. The parking area is gravel-covered. There is plenty of space in the yard to relax.

The owner has a beef cattle farm, Hietaniemi Ranch, 3 km away. The farm has a shop where you can buy Ranch's meat products. It is possible to arrange paid program services and farm visits. Instructions and contact information are in the cabin's information folder.
