Jachthaven Uitgeest: water, nature and relaxation

Jachthaven Uitgeest is located directly on the beautiful Alkmaarder- and Uitgeestermeer, one of the finest water sports areas in Noord-Holland. Your holiday begins the moment you arrive. Step aboard a hired motorboat, lounge boat, SUP, canoe, kayak or sailing boat and explore the vast lakes from the water. Prefer to discover the surroundings in a different way? Hire a bike, e-chopper or fatbike and enjoy the most scenic routes through green polders, past characteristic windmills and charming villages. Arriving by your own boat? Complete your stay by booking a mooring in the marina, so your boat is always close at hand.

After a day of adventure, return to the tranquillity of the water. Enjoy a drink on a terrace overlooking the lake or relax at your accommodation as the boats slowly drift by. This is where you experience the true feeling of a holiday, season after season.

There is plenty to enjoy beyond the marina as well. Within walking distance you will find the lively centre of Uitgeest with restaurants, terraces and shops. Fancy a day at the seaside? The beaches of Castricum aan Zee, Bakkum and Wijk aan Zee are just twenty minutes away by car. Historic towns such as Alkmaar and Haarlem are close by, and Amsterdam is reachable within around 25 minutes for a day of culture, canals, shopping or culinary highlights.

Good to know

The houseboat offers all the charm of staying on the water, but remains on a fixed mooring during your stay. As you are staying directly on the water and the terrace provides easy access to the water, we recommend that children hold a swimming certificate.

EXTRA INFORMATION! You can also moor here with your own sloop provided the maximum width is 2.50 (then it will fit alongside the Houseboat).
