30 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 6.2km, pond Törikänlampi 50 m, Lake Viipusjärvi 130 m, public, deep sandy beach.Cottage, built in 1990, in a pine stand between Lake Viipusjärvi and Törikänlampi pond.
Bedroom 1: double bed, bedroom 2: two beds, living room: convertible sofa for two, open fireplace, combined kitchen/living room, electric sauna. The sauna and washroom were renovated in late 2024 (the current photos were taken before the renovation).
Cottage is located in Viipus camping area, where there are 3 cottages available year-round and additionally camping cottages during summer. Rainbow trout stocked in Törikänlampi pond nearby. Pond Törikänlampi is small, 15 m deep pond with bright water. Swimming possibility for persons who can swim. Lake Viipusjärvi deepens gently and there is also a pier. Beach is in joint use of camping site's customers. Rowing boat in shared use by the lake Viipusjärvi.
Pets allowed for an additional fee, per booking period. The additional fee applies to bookings made from January 9, 2025.
Lean-to shelter in shared use for 3 cottages. Lakeside sauna (wood-heated stove, water must be carried from the lake) on request during summer (additional fee).
Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings).
