La Mouline

Lovely, rustic self-catering and self-contained two-floor gite with private pool near Autignac. The gite occupies the upper floors of this unique stone-built former olive mill with rustic charm and seclusion, and beautiful views of the Languedoc countryside and hills beyond. The 150-year-old mill is set in a lovely domaine, including woods, a stream, natural pools, and hidden waterfalls, a haven for bird life, and the occasional wild boar!

The private accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin, and one shared bathroom. The owner lives on-site and will be happy to help make sure you have a wonderful time. Bottled drinking water is provided. The house is not suitable for toddlers under 5 years old due to uneven terrain and spiral staircase.

This is a back-to-nature rural retreat, run in an eco-friendly way, so 'green' in both senses of the word! The private pool (7m x 4m) with attractive wooden decking offers a fabulous way to relax to the sounds of birds and cicadas and is run entirely on solar panels.

The gite is about 40 minutes from the nearest Mediterranean beaches, and you're about 20 minutes away from the Haut Languedoc natural park which is a haven for outdoors-enthusiast with river beaches and swimming, walking trails, kayaking, etc.
