Waking up at the forest edge, with the trees right outside your door
The Bos Lodge XL | 8 persons is tucked away in one of the finest spots on the park: right on the forest edge, with views of the trees and direct access to the woodland and sand drifts beyond. You step straight from the garden into nature. This spacious, detached lodge is ideal for a large group, a family with children or two families travelling together. With 100 m² of living space, four bedrooms and an exceptionally large garden, it has the feel of your own home in the woods.
Inside, a welcoming living area with corner sofa, fireplace and Smart TV with streaming sets the tone for relaxed evenings after a day outdoors. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, combination microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, filter coffee maker and kettle. The four bedrooms are fitted with comfortable box spring beds: two rooms with two beds pushed together, one room with two separate beds and one room with bunk beds. There are two bathrooms with walk-in shower, one of which is en suite, along with two separate toilets. Outside, a generous furnished terrace, a very large garden and two private parking spaces are yours for the stay. Dogs are welcome, up to a maximum of two pets.
Park Berkenrhode: small-scale and genuinely welcoming
Park Berkenrhode is a small, carefully managed holiday park on the forest edge, where tranquillity and warm hospitality go hand in hand. This is not a busy resort but a place where the details are taken care of so you can simply enjoy your time. Walks and cycling routes start directly from the park. Hire a bike, e-chopper or electric scooter and explore the surroundings at your own pace. After an active day, Brasserie Luwe offers a relaxed setting for lunch, drinks or dinner. The park also features a heated outdoor swimming pool, outdoor playgrounds, a Dog Wash, launderette, cafeteria and a breakfast and rolls delivery service.
Veluwe: forests, heathland and open air all around
The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Netherlands, and from the Bos Lodge XL | 8 persons you are right in the middle of it. Vast forests, open heathland, sand drifts and quiet footpaths follow one after another. Mornings begin with birdsong drifting through the trees, afternoons are spent cycling through the greenery and evenings draw you back to the warmth of your own lodge. Every season brings something different: autumn colours, crisp winter air, the fresh greens of spring and warm summer evenings out on the terrace.

Wij hebben het getroffen met het weer, hierdoor hebben wij veel kunnen fietsen en genieten van de omgeving. Het fijnste was wel dat onze oudste met zijn gezin kwam logeren, na 2,5 week vakantie.

Het feit dat we met 4 studiegenoten van 50 jaar terug samen met partners een paar prima dagen hebben gehad.
We treffen elkaar vaak, maar dit was een echt lustrum
Ook de tuin is prachtig, aan de regen van woensdag kunnen jullie ook niets veranderen
Het huis was voor 8 personen zeker oké, goed voorzien van voldoende spullen
Echt minpunt is de defecte schuifpui. Het mooie weer en buiten borrelen en dineren werd wel heel storend om telkens door een slaapkamer van een van de gasten te moeten lopen. Omlopen rond het huis kon natuurlijk ook, maar het werd als zeer storend ervaren.
Klein dingetje, het klepje van de koelkast ( diepvries deel) ontbreekt, moeizaam open maken.

Het begon reeds bij de boeking en de mails die nadien volgden. Super vriendelijk en alles heel goed uitgelegd. Bijkomende vragen werden snel beantwoord.
De lodge was ideaal voor een verblijf met acht personen. Alles is er. Bovendien een verzorgde tuin die aan het bos grenst, waardoor je toch een heel vrij gevoel hebt.
De kinderen hebben enorm genoten van het openluchtzwembad. Het water had een heerlijke temperatuur, dit terwijl het 's morgens toch nog fris was.
Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en hulpvaardig.
