In Central Istria, you can visit the numerous small, medieval towns and sample traditional specialities, whilst enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, which is irresistibly reminiscent of Tuscany or Provence. Istria is renowned for its cuisine – the famous Istrian prosciutto, pork fillet and sausages have a distinctive flavour and aroma, whilst the fish and seafood come from the idyllic archipelago.
