Sleeping in a water tower—an unforgettable experience! This converted water tower from 1896 is full of surprises for all ages. It has 7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 5 toilets, a play area, large garden and a meeting room that seats 12. Experience the beautiful view from the original water tank with windows on all sides and the lookout tower at 36 metres height. Look out over the entire city and lo and behold, the sea beckons, right there, behind the boulevard. Amazing!
Accommodation
On the ground floor is the large eat-in kitchen which allows 16 people. There is a dishwasher, 5-burner gas stove including a wok burner and a double hot air oven. The transparent glass gas fire provides an atmospheric partition and also a view into the living room. The high ceilings in the living room further accentuate the round shape of the tower. Delightful relaxing sofas, armchairs and a private entrance to the garden platform complete the luxurious living area. The first floor is half a floor with a playful children's room with 4 bedsteads (200 x 80 cm) a toy chest and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. On the second to the fourth floor are a total of 6 large double rooms. There are two luxury bathrooms with walk-in shower, bathtub, bathroom furniture and toilet. One of the bathrooms even has a comfortable sauna. From the fourth floor, a beautiful spiral staircase leads to the area below the water tank. From there, you can enter the immense water tank. Only then do you really experience how much water was once stored in the tank: 300,000 litres. There are windows on all sides, offering an unobstructed view of the surroundings, the city and even a little bit of the sea. Climb even higher for the meeting room for 12 people and finally, at 36 metres, a unique lookout tower. In the almost industrial basement there is a fully equipped playroom with Photo Play, Pacman and billiards, among other things. You can also use the washing machine and dryer located here. Surrounding the water tower is a spacious garden (ca. 800 m2 plot) including a large terrace with plenty of sun and privacy. There is a trampoline for the children. You will also find a large lounge sofa, tables and chairs, a parasol and BBQ. There are 5 parking spaces on site and a charging point for electric and hybrid cars.
Surrounding area
The Vlissingse Boulevard is just a stones throw away and can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. There you will also find the swimming beach (‘Badstrand’), the southernmost sandy beach in the Netherlands, where you can almost touch the passing ocean-going ships. That is how close they sail along the coast. The shopping centre, cinema and many restaurants are also within walking distance.

Hallo,
allgemein waren wir sehr zufrieden. Der Kunderservice war super bei den Fragen im Vorfeld.
Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft war passend.
Die Aussenanlage war super mit Trampolin, grossem Tisch und bequemer Lounge-Ecke.
Die Küche war gut eingerichtet und es gab eine Waschmaschine.
Die Lage direkt beim Meer sowie die aussergewöhnliche Architektur haben uns sehr gut gefallen.
Sehr positiv fanden wir auch, dass das Check-Out erst um 18:00 war.

Er is genoeg ruimte voor het aantal mensen, zeer goed gelegen, alles is op loopafstand en er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Er is een toilet op elke verdieping. Zeer duidelijke check-in en check-out informatie.

unique location in a beautifully renovated water tower, close to the Boulevard and the beach. For a 15-person stay (as we did), the kitchen and dining room are a bit too small. The seating in both rooms is also in need of renewal. Nevertheless, the bedrooms and bathrooms are well-kept and have all the necessary facilities. Nice stay in a unique building and ideal as a base for trips to Vlissingen and the rest of Zeeland.

Es war schon cool in einem Wasserturm zu schlafen. Super Aussicht aufs Meer und die Stadt inklusive, wen man einige Treppen hinter sich gelassen hat:)
Die Unterkunft hat einfach Charm und ist sehr gemütlich. Im Keller gibt es viele Spieömöglichkeiten für Kinder.
Badezimmer sind schön groß und sauber !

Geweldig mooi gebouw, zeer uniek om hier met de familie een weekend te verblijven. Zowel de kinderen als de volwassenen waren erg onder de indruk. Zoveel te zien en hele fijne en mooie kamers. Zeker de kinderkamer is erg leuk! Grote tuin met trampoline, genoeg parkeerplek midden in de stad. Je kunt overal te voet naar toe. Enige minpuntje is dat de keuken wat krap is voor een grote groep. Dus een klein beetje passen en meten, ook de eetkamer met de grote tafel is wat krap als je met grote groep bent maar was prima te doen. Echt geweldig gehad!
