500 km north of Rovaniemi, location on Tenojoki river bank, in Nuorgam, about 2 km to the fishing areas of Alaköngäs and Boratbocka. Tenojoki -river 10 m, deep shore, gravel bottom, river boat and outboard motor for rent.

Log cottage, built in 1992, renovated in 2015. Kitchen-living room with sofa bed, bedroom with 2 single beds, another bedroom with bunk bed, loft with wide mattress (180 cm). Sauna (wood-burning stove), shower room / wc, covered terrace.

NOTE: Hydro massage bath outdoors can be reserved for an additional fee (taking weather conditions into account), reservations and payment directly to the owner. Summer time 100 e / 3 days, winter time 130 e / 3 days. Cottage is equipped with air-source heat pump, gas grill, campfire site, smoking oven and vacuum packers.

Finland's best salmon fishing sites are located nearby. Alaköngäs and Boratbocka together constitute about 6 km long fishing area. Both has its own, specific fishing rules (Tenoinfo brochure, www.ely-keskus.fi). Fishing permits are available from companies in the area.

Transport services by snowmobile, ATV and jeep, guidance to fishing sites and willow grouse hunting areas, mountain bike rentals, as well as guided ski tours available from the owner.

Hunting: willow grouse hunting area 1604 in Nuorgam (www.eraluvat.fi). Also permits for cottage owner's small game hunting areas (20 hectares) available.

Nuorgam village services like shops and restaurant, 2-3 km away. The border crossing to Norway 6 km, Varanginvuono (Arctic Ocean) 40 km.

Note: Utsjoki-Nuorgam -road is close, traffic noice can be heard.
